The other day, a visitor said, as we were chatting, yes, this place is beautiful, but...what do you DO here? I've been asked that many times and as hard as it might be to believe, I don't have a blythe and ready answer. I usually end up by saying, not much. Which is a patent lie, just so you know. Audrey and Anne
I have heard many people say that Anne Hathaway is a lot like Audrey Hepburn. Anne's acting style has been compared to Audrey and many have said she bears an uncanny resemblance to Audrey.
While browsing pictures of these two world acclaimed actresses I came across the one below.

No, no it's just me who feels oh joy overstimulated, not the whole island. I think it is living a life where going out two nights in a row approaches a social whirl.. Gone Fishing!!

Jess came down Monday on spring break from Vet School at VT, and my Dad took her and I fishing for the first time this season at Camp Yeopim in NC!!
We didn't catch a lot of fish but it was a great time... as always....Jess got some "boat therapy" as she likes to call it...and it was a beautiful day!!

Harry Houdini
Here is link to the Wikipedia article on him. Ironically the last remaining member of his troupe of assistants Dorothy Young died the other day.
His wife Willamina Beatrice Houdini Known as "Bess" was also his stage assistant . They had no children which is very sad I think. Houdini was Jewish Bess was Catholic. Interesting huh?

Beware the island time Ides of March
Yesterday was pretty cloudy and rain spitty around here, so I stayed home instead of going to the cart. An unexpected day off, where staying inside (albeit with door and windows open) seemed a treat to be enjoyed. And it was, until, in my on-going serial Spring Cleaning event, I somehow, for the first time in the many years it's been up there, knocked a rather heavy skillet off its nail. Gravity
